iTools received a quality-assured solution that guarantees a valid document flow through NemHandel and Byg-E, allowing the company to send and receive accurate business documents.

iTools develops intelligent and innovative tool and safety solutions for the construction sector, making work easier, safer, and more efficient for the user. The company was founded in 2004 and has since developed thousands of products.

A more efficient solution

iTools uses the VAX 360 solution for exchanging electronic documents. We have established an electronic invoicing solution based on a sender and receiver model, where iTools’ invoices and credit notes are forwarded to the appropriate recipients through VAX 360.

iTools generates their own OIOUBL, which is received by VAX 360. Here, the electronic documents are checked to ensure that all sent documents comply with the applicable standards. These documents are then forwarded to their customers via NemHandel or Byg-E.

Around the turn of 2021/2022, iTools was informed that their previous electronic invoicing supplier had chosen to close its business. Therefore, they had to find a new supplier. However, the choice was easy for iTools as they had only heard good things about mySupply.

Accountant Jan Madsen knew in advance that switching software systems could be a time-consuming and financially challenging affair. iTools sends business documents to Byg-E but has had issues with them in the past. However, with my- Supply’s expertise, these issues have been resolved. Byg-E is the provider for electronic commerce for the trade association Danske Byggecentre, which exchanges documents using EDI, typically orders and invoices, between the various financial systems of companies. It is through this platform that iTools’ business documents are sent to the appropriate recipients.

RESULT

iTools has obtained a stable electronic invoicing solution that forwards invoices and credit notes via NemHandel or Byg-E. This has resulted in iTools being guaranteed accurate documents and their successful delivery.

With the new solution, iTools can track the OIO files that have been both sent and received at the other end. Jan Madsen’s enthusiasm for the solution is unmistakable: ‘And it’s absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t do that before. When a file was sent, it was out of my hands, but now I can track all files. It’s much easier to correct any errors that may occur. We spend very little time on it.’ VAX 360 automatically corrects the most common errors itself, so iTools doesn’t spend resources on it. This means that iTools is assured that all documents sent are valid, resulting in a better bottom line.
