mySupply has built up a unique expertise in electronic procurement and exchange of electronic documents. Flemming Beltoft, CEO of mySupply states: “We have been collaborating with SAP since 2010, where we together released an e-commerce solution that met the requirements that all invoicing for the public in Denmark should take place through NemHandel. In addition, we have implemented SAP SRM procurement solution at several customers”.
The SAP Ariba Procurement Network is the world’s largest B2B digital marketplace with 4.1 million companies and over 170 million business transactions per year. “Ariba has been around since 1996, and we see a general trend that Danish companies are now ready for the next generation of procurement solutions through cloud. We see the portal way of thinking as a new possible marketplace that they had not previously considered. We see great synergy in being able to offer integration between SAP ERP solutions and SAP Ariba to NemHandel and Peppol (standard for mandatory e-invoicing for the public sector in Europe, which came effect on 18 April 2019). From May 2020, all public companies in Europe must be able to receive electronic invoices, which is one of our main competences” says Flemming Beltoft.
“Since 2010, mySupply has been responsible for the nationwide development, maintenance and support of the entire NemHandel infrastructure for the Digitization Agency/the Danish Business Authority, and they have participated in the development of the Peppol infrastructure. They have a very deep expertise in procurement, great customer insight and already act as an implementation partner for many of our SAP Partners in their local and global SRM projects. So we are confident that mySupply will become a very valuable SAP Ariba Partner for our current and future customers” says Bryan Lindenskjold, Senior Solutions Sales Executive, SAP Ariba Denmark.
“Over the last 15 years, procurement solutions have become more global, more mature and far more mainstream. All companies need to keep track of who buys what, when, at whom and at what price, but we also see a greater and greater focus on sustainability regarding procurement. Here SAP Ariba plays an essential role, as you can select your suppliers based on the company’s CSR criteria (ranging from no to slave labour to yes to green energy) and receive warnings from the selected suppliers if they do not match the company’s social profile. Your CSR policy is thus fully implemented in the supply chain, so you can buy safely” says Bryan Lindenskjold.
Flemming Beltoft concludes: “We go “all in” and see a large market in implementing private and public SAP customers in the SAP Ariba Network. At the same time, there are plenty of NemHandel and Peppol customers who also could get great value from SAP Ariba, and then there is the entire municipal market. Such solutions will be very much needed when the electronic order becomes mandatory next year. We aim to become the most competent SAP Ariba partner in the Nordic region. We exist by keeping things in order!”.
